1984—Odyssey Industries is established

  • – Original products are shipping crates and automotive tooling

1989—Aerospace capability added

  • – Begins aerospace tooling

1990-2000—Expansion in capacity and capabilities

  • – Moves to new facility in 1994, triples plant capacity
  • – Develops invar tooling capability in response to market
  • – Invests in high-speed 5-axis machining
  • – Pioneers real-time, picture-based status to customers

2000-2006—New facilities and growth

  • – Moves to current facility in 2004
  • – Increased ceiling height and crane capacity for tooling
  • – Lake Orion facility opens in 2006
  • – Adds 100 workers to employ at total of 200+

2007-present—Expansion and acquisition

  • – Adds Henri Line’ and Mecof 5.3—large, 5-axis machines
  • – Adds 5-Axis Mecof Air One machine
  • – Purchased in 2012 by American Industrial Partners (AIP)
